Connecting Communities

November 2024 Updates

  • A newly updated connection map is now available online here.

Overview

The Bob Jones Trail was envisioned to join the communities of San Luis Obispo and Avila Beach via a trail along San Luis Obispo Creek.  Two sections of the trail currently exist.  A 2.5 mile trail from Avila to Highway 101, and a 1 mile section from Prado Rd to Los Osos Valley Rd in San Luis Obispo.  Connection of the trail between these two sections is the current focus.
